Come and spend a replenishing, restorative weekend of yoga, meditation, spiritual inspiration and more at the beautiful 500 year old venue, just outside the stunning village of Lavenham, which is probably the most picturesque medieval village you will come across. The venue is a 16th Century Grade Two listed house called Hill Farm, which sits atop a hill in 3.5 acres of gardens (and within a 500 acre estate), tennis court, hot tub, and meadow, with commanding views across unspoilt countryside.

Amazingly members of the Gandhi family have stayed in the house too. The previous owner, Peter Howard met Rajmohan Gandhi, Mahatma Gandhi’s grandson, when he was travelling internationally with the group. Rajmohan came to the UK many times, staying with the Howard family here at Hill Farm; most recently in 1984. Recently, Jo and Dominic were part of the team that organised and supported the 2017 Gandhi visit to the UK, with Dominic chauffeuring and cooking for Rajmohan.

During the retreat, it’s like taking off the outer layer of responsibilities and expectations, which the world and ourselves impose, leaving you completely open to be totally yourself and go deeper within.

Gourmet  Cuisine

Our vegan menu is preservative free, wheat free, gluten free, sugar free, and alcohol free. We cook only in coconut oil which has endless health benefits, and pride ourselves in showing our customers how tasty healthy food can be.

In silence we have the chance to allow our experience to be whatever it is. It helps us notice the world around us more clearly and rediscover the wonder of life. I always include a period of silence on my longer retreats. We move from silence into speaking again gently with the understanding that silent contemplation can be a powerful experience. Some people don’t want to give it up!
